Fame Game
In December 2010 several tapes of amateur audio and visual material were discovered in an abandoned storage unit in Western Sydney.
The footage has been pieced together to form a movie. It follows the story of four young hopeful's tormented attempts to escape; the question is, from what? They were lured there to take part in a game.
Fame Game is a mind-bending journey into the unknown, riddled with tension and fraught with intrigue that will keep you guessing right through until the very end.
What if the game you thought you were playing, was actually playing you?
The first feature film supported by Pure Independent Pictures is FAME GAME.
This film has had no government investment and represents a truly innovative Australian film.
It is being compiled from actual footage, supplied from an unknown source. See more opposite.
Pure Independent Pictures has received no government support for this film and we will not apply for any.
Fame Game has been produced in association with Lion Films and is due for release in 2014.

A troubled teen attempts to save his peers from a school shooter. When many of his classmates are killed, he blames himself. He’s not the only one who blames him and as he attempts to find a second shooter we begin to wonder if there are two sides to Hangdog’s personality.
1798. Irishman, John O’Connell must fight to survive and rescue his love, in a harsh new world in which he has become the antithesis of his own hatred. Where once he fought the British invaders, now he is the invader. The Darkinjang people have never before laid eyes on a white man. John is the first and he hides a dark secret that will see his old world collide with the new.
